Description:
We are dedicated to working with our members to learn .NET together: professionals teaching professionals. .NET is a broad technology with far reaching impacts in both technology and business applications. Therefore, we not only hope to learn the technology, but how to work with it in a business environment. Meetings are usually the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7-9pm and are held at Orlando City Hall on the 9th Floor in the Overlook conference room.

We will look at two main approaches to developing Silverlight 4 Data driven application using traditional WCF and also the newly introduced RIA Services. Using two possible patterns we will create very simple applications. We will look at pros and cons of each of the approaches. We will then look at some of each of the approaches. We will then look at some of the real world examples utilizing each of the above approaches and have some nice open ended discussions and find out how we can best utilize to improve our development.
